I was researching on suitable carnatic songs to sing for this occasion and i realised i was very poorly prepared as i had forgotten what i had learnt as a kid. My mom and sis pointed me towards a couple and thankfully, the internet is an amazing place and I ran across the lyrics with explanation for these two :

I was so happy and I sang the former today. This has inspired me to go ahead and practice all those long forgotten songs and enjoy the awesomeness that is music.
